Marc Hudson
A health care professional, Marc was involved with the first Climate Camp (2006) before setting up Manchester Climate Forum in 2007 and Manchester Climate Fortnightly (MCFly) in 2008. MCFly ran till November 2010, when Marc took a year out to visit his family in Australia (yes, before you ask, he flew).
He believes that we are going to be hit by series of unpleasant surprises, and that the crucial task for citizens is to create the physical, political and psychological groundwork so that when those challenges come, we don’t reach straight for comforting but ineffective ‘solutions’. The name of the game is ‘adaptive leadership.’
