In June 2008 the first issue of Manchester Climate Fortnightly appeared. It was two (and then four) pages of news, views and reviews about all the activity (and also the actual action) happening in Manchester around climate change. Although several people were involved for the first few issues, within a short while it was Marc Hudson and Arwa Aburawa who kept the show on the road.
For two and a half years, until November 2010, “MCFly” came out every second Monday, without fail (except for Xmas and stuff).
After a break, in late 2011 Manchester Climate Monthly staggered to life. It was a paper publication (8 pages) for 20 issue. Since then it has been online only.
The only “staff” is Marc Hudson, no longer a physiotherapist but trying to eke out an existence as an academic.
