    • In principle yes, as long as we can tweak the format from “me talking at everyone for 20 mins” or whatever into something more interactive etc!

Email me on mcmonthly@gmail.com, and send me publicity details of the 26th April event for the diary and for a blog post.

        Hi Marc

No I believe in ranting, I want you to totally let rip and lay down the facts.

        Spare no one.

I want the message out there. And you are the man to do it.

        Kind regards

        Paul

      • If that worked, we wouldn’t be in the mess we are in. That’s a sad fact that I keep learning and forgetting, forgetting and re-learning.
It’s too easy to rant (trust me, I know about this). It’s too easy for people to want to be ranted at (cos they then feel that they’ve ‘done their bit’ by accepting being ranted at. But the only way to change is offer constructive,long-term, dip-in-and-out-of opportunities for people to turn their fear, anger, dismay, hope etc into political and social power.
If I was any good at that, I’d be a happy man. I am trying.
I am happy to come, but not for a hector/rant. Yes, I will lay out facts, but we also need time for people to connect with each other…

    Hi Mark

Sorry for the delay replying. Yes very astute. I understand entirely. And like the way you are being so hard on yourself as well.
There is a very very noble tradition of ranting which is deeply ingrained in our culture. The ranters. Were medieval heralds. Spreading the word from town to town.

    Give it a thought.

Mark could you give me a call. I’d like to pick your brains.
