Situation: We have a bunch of twitter followers, but there are surely others it would be good to follow, and be followed by.
Mission: Systematically search Twitter and create a table listing -active accounts with quality tweets, their descriptions, their links to official sites number of followers. Keywords might include Manchester Climate Green, Environment, Sustainability, Aviation etc
Execution: Liaise with editors re: format of spreadsheet (or we can do that for you), conduct search using agreed keywords. Present information to editors
Administration: You will need internet access, familiarity with basic spreadsheets, and opposable thumbs for the control c (copy) and control v (paste) functions on your keyboard
Command and Control: This table will then be used by the editors to make an informed decision about whether to follow specific Twitter accounts.
Autonomy: (Amount you will be left alone to decide)Â Once we’ve agreed parameters, this baby is all yours
Mastery: You’ll become familiar with just how bad Twitter’s signal-to-noise ratio is.
