MASINT (Measurement and Signals Intelligence)
The gold standard. What are the baselines? What has shifted since last you measured? What might that tell us about the direction of travel? (And how can we be sure the planes aren’t canvas mock-ups?)
Recommendation – the “Slow Horses” books by Mick Heron. Apparently the TV series are quite good too.
