    The Independent article in the link -laces all the blame for our current predicament on the “climate movement” – “It’s time for the climate movement to face up to its colossal failure, examine why it failed, re-group and re-emerge with a strategy to ensure it succeeds. Human civilization’s very survival depends on it.” – while completely letting off the hook – oh – politicians, big oil, climate denialist think-tanks and propaganda, and the rest of civil society. Sure the environmental movement isn’t perfect and gets things wrong, but I don’t think the main blame lies there – smacks also of George Marshall’s comments about environmentalists getting the blame for recent flooding: http://climatedenial.org/
