“Pollution Challenge” Weds 24th April at the Lowry, #Manchester #pollutionchallenge

Thank you for your interest in attending Pollution Challenge, a university innovation challenge designed to encourage and develop ideas and research solutions to tackle urban diffuse pollution. Lead by the Environment Agency and in partnership with the Chartered institution of Water and Environment Management, the event will:

1.Bring together students, academics and leading figures in the industry and share ideas in an open and interactive environment

2.Encourage the development and sharing of a range of ideas and concepts, potential collaborations to tackle urban diffuse pollution and wider urban issues

3. Deliver an exciting and engaging day for attendees who believe in the power of innovation and creativity to help change their world. This will be achieved through the use of live digital media and interactive idea sharing platforms.

The day event will include presentations from student finalists, breakout discussion and idea sharing sessions, interactive media and networking opportunities.

In the evening we will welcome delegates for a drinks reception, dinner and awards ceremony led by Steve Moore, North West Director of the Environment Agency and Lord Chris Smith, Chairman of the Environment Agency.
